Moringa Granola

Start your festive morning on a crunchy note with The Moringa Man's moringa leaf powder Christmas granola.


The Moringa Man granola

  • 2 tbs The Moringa Man's moringa leaf powder

  • 2 cups rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup honey (agave or rice malt syrup)

  • 100g raw cashews

  • 100g almonds

  • 50g pepitas

  • 1tsp vanilla paste

  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut


  • 1 cup shaved coconut

  • 1/2 cup goji berries

  • 1tsp The Moringa Man's moringa leaf powder


  • Heat oven to 120º.

  • Chop almonds and cashews roughly then place in a large mixing bowl.

  • Add desiccated coconut, pepitas, The Moringa Man's moringa leaf powder and mix to combine.

  • Warm honey and vanilla paste over the stove. (Note: Watch that it doesn’t come to the boil.)

  • Add warmed honey and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix well until completely incorporated. (Note: This may take a little time but keep at it, it will soon come together.)

  • Spread granola evenly over a tray lined with baking paper.

  • Bake for 40 minutes then remove and allow to cool completely. (Note: Keep an eye on your granola after 30mins, as it can burn quickly.)

  • Garnish with an extra sprinkle of The Moringa Man's moringa leaf powder, toss to combine and break up granola, then add goji berries and shaved coconut.

  • Store in an air tight container or jar.

Serve with fruit and yogurt, or as a snack from the jar.
